By Air

Rajahmundry Airport (RJA) is the nearest, about 65 km away (90 minutes by taxi). Visakhapatnam (VTZ) is an alternative at about 160 km with more flight options.

By Train

Kakinada Town (CCT) and Kakinada Port stations serve the city, connected through Samalkot Junction (SLO) on the Howrah to Chennai main line.

By Road

Kakinada is well connected by NH216. Regular APSRTC and private buses run from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Rajahmundry.
